Who needs four legs when two will do just fine?
Just ask Boots the cat.
New video posted on YouTube by Megan Brocato shows the double-amputee cat walking down the stairs on its two front legs.
Brocato said the cat was saved from euthanasia at just 10 days old.
According to a story posted on a rescue website, Boots wears temporary prosthetics made by a Denver company called OrthoPets. The “house slippers” help Boots learn to walk and keep her back straight.
The cat will eventually have surgery and be fitted with permanent prosthetic back legs.
The costs for surgery, prosthetics and physical therapy is expected to exceed $6,000.
