CLEVELAND - Are you the 'face" of Cleveland?   The 2016 Host Committee is holding a casting call this Saturday for Greater Clevelanders interested in appearing on welcome signs for the upcoming Republican National Convention.  It is a way to show off the region's greatest asset: its people and Cleveland’s diverse community.

The headshots of fifty people will be used on street pole banners throughout the area. “We want that first impressions to be the faces on Northeast Ohio residents welcoming the amazing people that will be here and showcasing our city pride,” Jennifer Kramer with Destination Cleveland said.

Photo Shoot Information:
· Participants must be 18 years or older and a resident of Cuyahoga or the contiguous counties (Lorain, Medina, Summit, Portage, Geauga, Lake).
· Participants will be photographed in the order in which they arrive. Please come prepared to stand in line until your ticket number is called; consider bringing light refreshments.
· Only one person will appear in each image.
· Participants will be asked to provide their name, home address, email address and their career/profession/favorite role in life for possible inclusion on the signage. Participants should wear an outfit that is consistent with that role.
· Participants are not permitted to wear logos, branding or messages of any kind. Solid colors other than white are best; please avoid patterns or bright colors.
· Participants must agree to a background check if selected for final use (consistent with any Host Committee recruitment effort).
· Parking is available throughout the area – including meters and paid lots and garages.

The casting call is Saturday, April 16 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Global Center for Health Innovation.

It is limited to the first 200 people interested in being photographed that day.
