Wadsworth police asking victims to come forward after stolen property is recovered

WADSWORTH, Ohio – The Wadsworth Police Department executed a search warrant late last week, recovering several items stolen from around the neighborhood since October 2015.

Joshua D. Born, 35, was taken into custody and later transported to the Medina County Jail. He is being held there on $80,000 bond. He has been charged with 1 count of burglary and more charges are possible.

Since there is a large amount of stolen property, possible victims are asked to come forward with a description of the property that has been stolen from their home.

The areas targeted by the suspect included:

  • Stratford Crossings apartment complex
  • Valleyview/Longview/Knollwood/Orchard/Good neighborhood
  • Brook/Archwood neighborhood
  • Durling Drive
  • Fernwood Avenue
  • High Street
  • Broad Street
  • Highland Avenue
  • Prospect Street
  • Wadsworth Trailer Park
  • West Street
  • Briarthorn condominium community
  • Bent Creek condominium community
