A koala bear just inches from safety took a big fall — and it was caught on video.
According to CBS, the camera was rolling as kids were on a field trip in Australia.
They discovered the koala trapped in a mine shaft, so they lowered a tree trunk to let him climb to safety.
As he neared the top, he plunged back down, but then managed to make it out on the second attempt.
