GATES MILLS, Ohio (WJW) — No one was reported injured after a school bus crash in Gates Mills Tuesday afternoon, Geneva Area City Schools reported.

“We are aware of this unfortunate situation and most importantly are happy to report that all students, coaches, our driver, and others involved are safe,” the district said in a statement released to FOX 8. “We will investigate the situation to determine the cause of the accident. When more information is available after an official investigation is done, we will release it at that time.”

The eastbound lanes of Mayfield Road at the West Hill Drive intersection were closed for the crash, Chagrin Valley Dispatch reported at 4 p.m. Tuesday. Drivers were advised to seek an alternate route.

SkyFOX footage showed a pickup truck carrying a trailer in contact with the bus’ front end (as seen in the video at the top of the story). Gates Mills police later reported the crash involved three vehicles.
