CLEVELAND -- It was Kenny Lofton's memory-making moment at Game 1 of the World Series in Cleveland.
The 1995 Cleveland Indians World Series team member threw out the ceremonial first pitch Tuesday night.

A Northeast Ohio man gave up his seat on a flight so that Lofton could make it to Cleveland for the big moment.
Former Indians player Carlos Baerga will throw out the first pitch in Game 2 at Progressive Field, Wednesday night. The game time is now 7:08 p.m. due to weather concerns.
