CLEVELAND — Family and friends of Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight gathered outside MetroHealth Medical Center Monday night while their loved ones were being treated.

Dr. Maloney, Emergency Department Physician at MetroHealth, did not give specific details on the victims’ injuries or mental state, but said the women were in “fair” condition.

“This is really good because this usually isn’t the ending we hear to these stories; so we’re very happy; we’re very happy for them, ” said Dr. Maloney.

Only immediate family members were permitted inside to see Berry, DeJesus and Knight; however other family members and friends gathered outside the hospital and said they were “patiently waiting” to see the women.
