Vandals Target Local High School

MILLERSBURG, Ohio — Authorities in Holmes County are looking for the suspects responsible for vandalizing and damaging part of a local high school.

Investigators say the vandals targeted West Holmes High School on State Route 39 sometime on Tuesday.

That’s where school officials found metal signs, stone benches, monuments and trash cans covered in black spray paint. The school’s field house, restrooms, and bleachers press box were also vandalized.

Sheriff’s deputies also discovered damage to both of school’s maintenance buildings.

So far, authorities have no suspects in this case.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office.
