CLEVELAND - Tornado warnings were issued for parts of northeast Ohio Sunday evening.
Portage, Stark and Summit counties were under the warning from 6:30 pm. It was issued until 7:15 p.m.
Reports of high winds and damage began coming in to first responders.
Reports of damage to the Amazon fulfillment Center in Twinsburg told Fox 8's Allison Brown
that shortly after 6:30 p.m., he and his associates heard what sounded like a freight train and a loud boom. There is structural damage to the roof of the building. The worker told us that staff were inside the building at the time. Twinsburg Fire reports that two people had minor injuries.
A car was flipped over on Manchester Road in Akron.
At 6:50, Cleveland police reported a landslide from construction dirt at I77 and I490. Valley Road at the Jennings Freeway was closed due to flooding for a time.
In Shaker Heights, buses have replaced trains on the Green Line between the Shaker Square and Green Road Rapid station.
