Unacceptable statistic: ODOT crews hit dozens of times last year

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WJW) – The Ohio Department of Transportation reports that Ohio drivers are the owners of an unacceptable statistic.

ODOT crews were hit by drivers 178 times last year, according to the agency.

ODOT says in February of 2020, six ODOT crews were hit.

In the state of Ohio, you’re required to move over when you see flashing lights or any roadside workers.
