CLEVELAND – Two suspects in a number of Cleveland area bank robberies are under arrest, and police are now looking for the third member of their group, after the trio robbed another bank in Cleveland on Friday.
The Cleveland Office of the FBI tells Fox 8 that two men entered the US Bank on Puritas Avenue in Cleveland Friday. One suspect was armed, and after demanding and getting money, the pair fled the bank.
At the same time, a vehicle that looked just like one used in other bank robberies was spotted in the area of East 105 and Union. After a brief chase, two of the three people inside the vehicle were caught and arrested for the bank robbery on Puritas.
The two that were arrested were Imari Eberhardt and Monta Harris. They are being held at the Cleveland Justice Center until federal bank robbery charges can be filed, most likely next week.
The third occupant of the vehicle is believed to be a man who goes by the names of Rio, D, and D-Low. Authorities are still looking for him.
Police and the FBI will have updates on this and Fox 8 and Fox8.com will bring them to you as they happen.
