STREETSBORO, Ohio-- Shots were fired at two houses in Streetsboro early Monday morning.

Officers were called to the area of Bartlett and Elliman roads shortly before 1 a.m.

One round went through the front wall and hit a popcorn machine, according to police. At the second house, a bullet passed through a wall and hit another before ending up on the floor.

Police said people were home at the time, but no one was injured.

Another resident reported hearing four pops that sounded like firecrackers that night.

Detectives told FOX 8 News it appears the incidents were random.
