CLEVELAND – Two people were killed and four others were injured after 3 cars crashed in Cleveland overnight.

According to officials, the first car was traveling westbound on St. Clair near the East 103rd intersection just before 3 a.m.

As the first car attempted to turn, they were struck by a second car traveling eastbound on St. Clair.

A third car came down St. Clair, striking both cars in the middle of the intersection.

The second car went off the road, hit a brick wall and caught fire.

The driver of the first car was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center for surgery. The driver of the second car passed away at the scene. The driver of the third car was not injured.

A passenger from the second car was taken to Metro, where they passed away.

3 other passengers from the second car were also taken to local hospitals for their injuries.

Officials believe speed and alcohol were involved.
