EASTLAKE – Two dogs were killed after a house fire broke out on Traymore Boulevard Sunday evening.

According to Eastlake Fire Chief Ted Whittington, the fire is believed to have started on the porch of the home.

It spread to a second house and two cars. The second house was not damaged very severely.

Several departments assisted Eastlake to battle the blaze.

Two dogs were unable to make it out of the home, but a third dog did escape. No people were injured.

The cause is still being investigated and officials haven’t determined if the home will be repairable or if it is a total loss.
