WAYNE COUNTY, Ohio — Two people arrested in Ashland County may be connected to the theft of thousands of pills from an Orrville animal clinic overnight Monday.
"As a result of the ongoing investigation in Ashland, we have reason to believe these suspects have a connection to the break-in on Kidron Road. The investigation is ongoing," said Wayne County Sheriff Captain Doug Hunter.
According to police in Ashland, Casey Pattie, 21, and Sky Parker Rosa Dedic, 20, were arrested after a search warrant was executed on Thursday morning.
The two are believed to be connected to break-ins at the Claremont Veterinary Clinic, the Ashland Golf Club, and the Family Chiropractic Clinic.
They are being held at the Ashland County Jail while the prosecutor reviews the case.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said that a large amount of drugs were taken from the Country Corner Animal Clinic, including 2,400 Tramadol pills and nearly 1,400 Phenobarbital pills. Liquid Ketamine, liquid Fentanyl and Narcan were also taken.
