WILLOUGHBY – Jeremy Potter, 36, and Cassandra Bolas, 24, were both arrested Tuesday in Willoughby.
An officer noticed a car in the Walgreen’s parking lot on SOM Center Road and saw that the license plate was not registered to the car it was on.
When the officer walked up to the car, he saw that the steering column and ignition were damaged.
Potter from Rome, Ohio was inside the car when the officer approached and has several arrest warrants for failure to appear on drug charges.
A few minutes later, Bolas exited the Walgreen’s after she was denied to purchase a pseudoephedrine product from the pharmacy.
K9 Rebel sniffed the car for narcotics and alerted the officers that he had found them. There was marijuana and other paraphernalia related to heroin and the making of methamphetamine.
Potter was also in possession of heroin and Bolas in possession of drug abuse instruments.
Potter and Bolas were arrested for the illegal assembly of methamphetamine, possession of synthetic narcotics, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of narcotic equipment.
Potter posted bond at the Willoughby Municipal Court and has a preliminary hearing scheduled for October 22, at 1:00pm.
Bolas’ bond was set at $7500 and later transported to Lake County Jail and has a preliminary hearing scheduled for October 22, at 1:00pm.
