WESTLAKE, Ohio — Two westbound lanes of I-90 reopened following a truck fire that shut down the westbound side of the highway early Wednesday.

The Westlake Fire Department quickly put out the fire.

It started around 5 a.m. near Clague Road.

Traffic was rerouted to Hilliard Road in Rocky River.

One westbound lane remained closed just before 6 a.m.

The fire department did not know the condition of the truck’s driver.

Investigators believe a mechanical issue caused the fire.
