SAGAMORE HILLS, Ohio — ODOT announced State Route 82 between Chaffee Road and Carter Road was open as of Monday at 7:30 a.m.

The stretch of road in Sagamore Hills had been closed after a wide-load semi took down at least three utility poles on Sunday afternoon, forcing the closure of both east and westbound lanes.

The accident also wiped out power to Summit County residents.

Additional details about the crash were not immediately released.

A spokesperson for FirstEnergy said crews were working to repair the utility poles. An outage map showed that power had been restored to most customers by 6 p.m. on Sunday.
