ERIE COUNTY, Ohio — A Cleveland man was arrested after being found with nearly $24,000 worth of cocaine during a traffic stop.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, troopers stopped a 2010 Ford Fusion for a speed violation on the Ohio Turnpike eastbound just after 11 p.m. Oct. 22.
A drug-sniffing canine alerted to the car, and a probably cause search revealed 283 grams of cocaine in a cooler cup on the rear floorboard.
The cocaine has a street value of about $23,772, according to OSHP.
The driver, Bryant Weeden, 34, was arrested and taken to Erie County Jail. He now faces charges of possession and trafficking in cocaine.
