Troopers find $14K in Adderall, pot during Erie County traffic stop

MILAN, Ohio– The Ohio State Highway Patrol found thousands of dollars in illegal drugs during a traffic stop in Erie County on Friday.

Troopers stopped a car with West Virginia license plates for speeding on Interstate 80 near Milan. According to the patrol, they smelled marijuana and searched the vehicle.

That’s when they discovered about three pounds of marijuana, 17 boxes of THC cigars and 56 Adderall pills. The highway patrol said the items have a street value of $14,758.

Jacob N. Coakley, 34, of Beaver Falls, Pa., was arrested. He was charged with trafficking in marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of a schedule II substance.
