Trooper in New Hampshire helps save bald eagle

Portsmouth, NEW HAMPSHIRE – A New Hampshire State Trooper is being credited with rescuing a bald eagle.

The bald eagle was hit by a car on I-95 in Portsmouth Sunday.

New Hampshire Fish and Game Officer James Benvenuti also came to the eagle’s aid.

The eagle was alert after the accident.
