CLEVELAND- It’s touted as work-ready, family tough. If you love trucks, but haven’t found that luxurious one with that western feel to it, Toyota has what you’re looking for. It’s called the 2015 Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition and it’s one of a kind.
“It’s a nice truck, nice truck, nice features, big mirrors,” said Lynn Sayers of Oberlin.
The first thing you’ll notice on this luxurious truck is the front of it; it’s a grill on a grill.
“The grill actually brings the attention right to that truck," said Teri Mateo, sales manager of Brunswick Toyota. "You know when the 1794 is coming down the road.”
If you’re a female and you love to drive trucks, this may be the truck for you. The Tundra 1794 is fit for everybody.
“As a female myself, it’s easy to maneuver," Mateo said. "The buttons are large, even with gloves on you can reach everything. Very user friendly. The family could be in it.”
The Tundra 1794 comes with the latest safety features, like front and rear sonar indicators and blind spot monitor and cross traffic.
“Where the indicators lights will let you know if anyone is in the lanes on either side of you, also cross traffic, if you’re going in reverse and anybody should be going through on the other side,” Mateo said.
The interior of the 1794 has a western theme, with brown leather, ventilated air-cool seats, wood trim interior and unlike most trucks a rear window that can fully open.
“Actually, you can have all your windows open and the sunroof and you feel as though you are out in the open,” Mateo said.
And if you’re wondering why it’s called the 1794, well, the ranch where the Toyota Tundra is now built was founded in 1794, hence giving this luxurious Toyota truck its name.
