Toddler found wandering the street in Cleveland identified

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland police asked for help finding the parents of a toddler who was found wandering the street Thursday.

Police said two students walking to school in the 15700 block of Kipling found the girl outside in the cold around 8 a.m.

Police believed she was about 2 years old.  She was taken to Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital for precautionary evaluation by EMS.

At just before noon Thursday, police gave an update and said the father of the child was located and the child has been identified.

The girl will be in the care of the Department of Children and Family Services. No charges have been filed at this time.
