Toasters everywhere rejoice: Pop-Tarts to introduce some wild new flavors

BATTLE CREEK, MICHIGAN – Move over Brown Sugar Cinnamon and Frosted Blueberry Pop-Tarts: you are about to get some new flavor competition.

Word in the toaster has it that Kellogg’s Pop-Tarts is going to introduce some new flavors starting in December.

First up, is Chocolately Caramel, which features a chocolate crust stuffed with caramel and is topped with chocolate and caramel icing.

Then comes the trendy flavor combo of Maple Bacon. They’ll be frosted with bacon chunks. Frosted Watermelon will also be introduced in December.

Early next year, look for Frosted Spring Strawberry, which are said to have printed cartoons on the frosting. And then in April, Pink Lemonade, complete with pink frosting and pink and yellow sprinkles. All this is according to Refinery 29, but Pop-Tarts has confirmed the release on their Twitter account:
