Timekeeping company used by city of Cleveland hit during cybersecurity incident

CLEVELAND (WJW)– The company used by the city of Cleveland for employee timekeeping reported a cybersecurity incident on Monday.

Ultimate Kronos Group told the city it is working to assess and resolve the situation.

According to the city, some of the data accessed may have included employees’ first and last names, addresses, last four digits of their Social Security number and employee ID.

Cleveland said payroll processing will continue.
