(CNN) — Jeweler Tiffany & Co., for the first time, is showcasing a same-sex couple in an ad campaign.
The new campaign, shot by fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh, showcases seven scenes of couples at different stages of their relationships, with a few twists.
One scene features a same-sex couple about to commit to marriage. The pair, shown sitting on a stoop in New York City, are a real couple, not models, according to a Tiffany spokesperson.
Another photo shows a couple getting married with their child at their side. The photos are a celebration of modern love, creating scenes emphasizing that love comes in a variety of forms, the company said in a press release.
It also added that the couples represent the diverse spectrum of people who visit Tiffany each day in search of jewelry for loved ones.
“All of these scenes have a unifying theme: they capture a moment in time when couples experience an intimate connection, an acknowledgment that yes, this person is the one, now and forever,” the press release stated.
“No other brand embodies the emotion and trust that Tiffany does for those who are committed to one another,” said Caroline Naggiar, chief marketing officer of Tiffany & Co. “People have always looked to Tiffany to commemorate the most precious and joyous moments in their lives.”
The “Will You?” campaign shows couples pictured in various romantic settings. Additional campaign images include couples pictured on a city rooftop, driving in a convertible, at home on a cozy sofa and in a quiet café.
The global campaign includes video, digital and social components designed to reach the Tiffany consumer across multiple channels.
