CLEVELAND- Concerned neighbors called Cleveland police to check on their neighbors who they hadn’t seen in a couple days. Inside of the Ada Avenue home, police found three people dead from apparent gunshot wounds Friday afternoon.

Cleveland police said a woman, thought to be in her late 40s, was located downstairs in the house. Another woman in her late 20s and a man were found upstairs.

Investigators aren’t sure about the man’s age, but a team of homicide detectives and crime scene technicians were processing house for clues, while other officers canvassed the neighborhood looking for anyone who might have heard or saw something.

“There are no signs of forced entry at this time,” said Deputy Police Chief Edward Tomba. “There’s suspected violence, but what took place? We don’t know.”

This deadly incident happened less than a mile away from Wednesday night’s shooting on Thornhill Drive. Seven people suffered gunshot wounds, mostly to their extremities, but all survived.
