Three arrested in Uniontown after meth lab found

UNIONTOWN, Ohio – Three people were arrested on Wednesday in Uniontown after police found a meth lab inside a house they were staying at.

The homeowners were on vacation while 32-year-old Joshua Davis was house sitting for them.

Police were first called to the scene around 6 a.m. when several 911 calls came in about 2 women running down Sugar Bush Avenue.

When police found the women, they believed they were under the influence of a controlled substance.

Police then went to a home on Sugar Bush Avenue where they found Davis and a meth lab.

Davis also appeared to be under the influence.

Detectives and other officials came to the scene to dispose of the meth lab safely.

Kayla Hill, 18, and Ashley Hutchison, 20, were arrested along with Davis.

All three are facing charges for illegal use of drug paraphernalia, possession of drug abuse instruments. permitting drug abuse, possession of controlled substance and illegal manufacture of drugs – methamphetamine.

All three are currently being held at the Stark County Jail.
