PARMA, Ohio (WJW) – The Parma City School District announced Friday the district would be keeping its doors closed while police investigate a threat of violence.

“Until our law enforcement partners can properly investigate this threat, we are suspending all district operations,” the school district announced on social media.

That includes summer school, athletics, band and the summer feeding program.

Police say the threat is unrelated to a threat to an elementary school this week.

Summer school classes were canceled on Thursday.
