Thieves strike in two early morning smash and grabs

EUCLID-Thieves struck again Wednesday targeting ATMS at two northeast Ohio gas stations.

The first smash-and-grab happened around 4 a.m. on East 93rd and Harvard at the Valero Gas Station. The gas station was open at the time. Thankfully no one was hurt. Police at the scene tell FOX 8 the ATM was not taken during the ordeal.

Around an hour later, thieves struck again this time in Euclid at the BP on Lakeland Blvd. The gas station was open for business at the time. In this case, two vans were used. One of the vehicles was located a block away. Police tell FOX 8 News, the thieves managed to take the ATM in this smash-and-grab. No injuries were reported.
