SOUTH EUCLID, OH –  Parts of a Family Dollar Store in South Euclid are in shambles after thieves rammed into it with a van in order to steal an ATM machine.

Police arrived at the store on Monticello Boulevard early Sunday morning to find extensive damage to the glass wall near the store’s entrance. It was then they realized that the ATM was missing.

From the store’s surveillance video, police know that the van backed into the store four times in order to smash the glass wall. Three men, all wearing hoodies, were seen in the video. Two of them dragged the ATM out of the store and loaded it into the van.

A grey, plastic piece of the van’s bumper was found at the scene, but there were no markings or vehicle logos on it. Police believe however, that it came from a 200-2005 Plymouth Voyager van. It’s not known at this time how much money was in the ATM or the monetary amount of damage done to the store.
