FRISCO, Texas – A Texas man decided to be a little creative when paying for a recent speeding ticket.

According to NBC Chicago, Brett Sanders was pretty upset about getting a ticket for driving 39 in a 30 mph zone.

“I didn’t hurt anybody. I didn’t endanger anybody’s life,” he said.

That’s why he got nearly 22,000 pennies, filled 5 buckets and carried them into Frisco Municipal Court and dumped them all out.

“It felt great. It really felt great,” Sanders said.

The clerks had to gather the pennies and take them to a local Coinstar. He actually overpaid the city by about 7 dollars.

“I’m just going to go ahead and let them keep that,” he said.
