STEUBENVILLE, Ohio– Two girls, ages 15 and 16, appeared in court Wednesday, facing charges of making online threats against the victim in the Steubenville rape case.
Both girls denied the charges.
They were released on house arrest and are not allowed to use any social media.
The Jefferson County teens are accused of posting threats on Twitter on the day two high school football players were convicted of raping a 16-year-old girl.
The tweets threatened the victim with bodily harm and death.
Another hearing is set for next week.
