CLEVELAND, Ohio — A 17-year-old male is in custody in the shooting death of another teenager, according to Cleveland police.
According to Cleveland police, Kortez McRae, 17, of Cleveland, was shot in the head after an argument at a party early Sunday.
Police said it happened at a 1318 E. 66th St. home. Police said the argument moved outside, and when it appeared to start deescalating, a black male walked up to the victim and shot him in the head.
McRae was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
Police are not yet releasing the suspect’s name because he is a juvenile.
