CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are investigating a possible luring that happened Monday morning on the city’s east side.

Officials say shortly after 8 a.m., a 14-year-old John F. Kennedy High School student was walking along Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and Corlett Avenue, when he was approached by a man in a white car.

The man, who was reportedly around 30 years old and missing his front teeth, asked the student if he wanted a ride. The teen said, “No,” and the man drove off.

The teen reported the incident to his mom after he got to school. Officers responded to the area to look for the suspect, but did not find him.

Police are looking for the white suspect vehicle, which was possibly a Toyota.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call the Cleveland Division of Police.
