CLEVELAND - While family and supporters rallied on Saturday to honor 12-year-old Tamir Rice, as Friday marked exactly six months since his death. They said someone needs to be held accountable for his death.
The family wants justice for Tamir, but know that after the Michael Brelo not guilty verdict on Saturday, it will continue to be a battle going forward.
No officers have been charged in Tamir's death at this time.
Cleveland police were called to Cudell Recreation Center on Nov. 22 for a report of a male with a gun. The Cleveland Division of Police said they warned Rice to drop the weapon before they shot and killed him. They later learned the gun was airsoft.
