Suspect steals credit card from Westlake restaurant, spends thousands

WESTLAKE, Ohio– Westlake police are asking for help identifying the woman they say racked up thousands of dollars on a stolen credit card.

An Avon Lake woman’s wallet was stolen while she was at the Yard House in Westlake on Dec. 18. Police said more than $5,000 was spent on her credit card that same day, including $1,900 at a Game Stop in North Olmsted.

Anyone with information on the woman’s identity should call the Westlake Police Department at 440-871-3311.
