Suspect who escaped custody of Euclid police caught in Cleveland Heights

EUCLID, Ohio– The Euclid Police Department was searching for a fugitive who escaped Thursday afternoon. But, that person is now in custody.

Jonathan Alexander Lamun, 24, was being transported to the jail after his arrest for aggravated menacing. Euclid police said he kicked out the window of the transport vehicle and ran away at about 3 p.m. He was seen at Steelyard Commons in Cleveland.

Authorities told the public that Lamun should be considered dangerous.

According to the U.S. Marshals, Lamun was taken into custody before 7 p.m. on Eddington Road in Cleveland Heights.
