CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH – Cleveland Heights police have made an arrest in a series of BB gun shootings that damaged a number of cars in the Noble Road area of that town.
Police Chief Annette Mecklenburg says somebody had been shooting a BB gun at cars as they traveled along a stretch of Noble Road within the past weeks.
Thanks to tips from community members and follow-up by officers, the department made an arrest in connection with the vandalism on Saturday. In fact, the department credits information supplied from the community with directly identifying the suspect.
That person is currently in custody and will be facing charges Monday morning.
