AKRON– A student involved in an altercation with an Akron police officer, that left her with a broken arm, has been arrested.
Akron police say 14-year-old Tamika Williams assaulted a teacher and a 12-year-old male student at Litchfield Middle School, around 9:30 Wednesday morning.
Police say the teen was seen screaming as she was chasing the student down the hallways. She then allegedly threw a notebook binder at the male.
According to police, Williams knocked over and shoved a teacher while she was chasing the student.
No one was injured.
In October, police say Williams was involved in a confrontation with an officer inside Jennings Middle School.
The officer is accused of using excessive force.
