CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — Cleanup is underway in Cleveland Heights after stormy weather moved through late last night.
Fox 8 crews found a number of trees and power lines down along a five-block stretch of Coventry Road just north of Cedar Road.
The trees have been pushed to the side of the roads to make them passable.
Caution tape is up around any downed power lines.
There were also reports of trees and power lines down along Mentor Road in Mentor. The road was closed early Wednesday between S.R. 615 and Garfield Road.
In Olmsted Township, Columbia Road was closed between John Road and Brookins Boulevard due to fallen power lines.
According to the First Energy website, more than 20,740 people in Cuyahoga County were without power as of 6:45 a.m. Wednesday. More than 3600 power outages were reported in Lake County.
