LAKEWOOD, Ohio -- The storms that rolled through northeast Ohio on Thursday morning knocked out power to the area of West 117th and Clifton Avenue in Lakewood.

Police were on scene directing traffic at the busy intersection. Cars were approaching the area and treating the intersection as a four-way stop prior to police arriving.

Over in Rocky River Hilliard Blvd westbound has been closed between Wildflower and 21018 Hilliard Blvd., due to a large tree leaning on power lines.

Rocky River Police say that if the tree falls it will cover the westbound lanes of travel.

Police tell Fox 8 News CEI was unable to give an estimated time of arrival to repair the issue.

Meanwhile Fox 8 News crews are on the scene of a tree into a house in the 12200 block of Sobieski Avenue in Cleveland.
