AKRON, Ohio-- You know and love 'American Idol' but what about 'Harvest for Hunger Idol?!'

Akron Children's Hospital employees were singing in Akron on Thursday to help stock the shelves of a local food bank.

There were ten singers including doctors, nurses and support staff.

The Harvest for Hunger judges were also volunteers. It cost $2 to get in to the event and a $1 to vote for a performer.

All the money goes to the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank.
