Spirit Airlines announces expanded service in Cleveland

CLEVELAND (WJW)– Spirit Airlines is celebrating five years of service at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport by announcing expanded service.

When Spirit started service in Cleveland, it offered non-stop flights to Orlando, Tampa and Fort Myers. It later expanded to Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta, Detroit, Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach and New Orleans.

On Thursday, the airline said it’s increasing flights to a number of those cities and adding Cancun, Mexico.
