CLEVELAND-Christmas started a little early for some Cleveland residents thanks to several city dispatchers and officers.

A special delivery was made Monday at the Edna House for Women and the Julie Adams house.

Dispatchers and officers raised money throughout the year and then purchased gifts.

“We went to Target and bought hundreds of dollars worth of gifts,” said Steve Loomis, president of the police union.  “We were all very excited to deliver the gifts. It’s great to see everyone so happy.”

Approximately 500 toys total to the two houses through money and donations.

Several of the dispatchers says they wanted to help make Christmas special for those that may be having a difficult time this year.
