EASTLAKE, Ohio – It was a special day for some local children fighting life-threatening illnesses as they got the royal treatment at the Lake County Captains game.

This was all made possible by “A Kid Again”, an Ohio based charity with a local chapter that treats sick children and their families to fun adventures. Today, the adventure was held at Classic Park, but other such adventures are scheduled at or have already been held at Lake Erie Monster games, Cedar Point, Wildwater Kingdom and the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.

As you can see in the photo gallery pictures above, the little ones were treated to face painting, great seats and of course, an array of their favorite ball park foods! They even got to run the bases after the game was finished. Their parents and siblings were included too, because “A Kid Again” knows that illness affects the whole family.
