Speaking Role Auditions Announced for Movie

CLEVELAND — The Greater Cleveland Film Commission announced speaking role auditions will be held for the Marvel feature film being shot in Cleveland.

A military sergeant, military police officer and “thin guy” are needed.

“Captain America: The Winter’s Soldier,” starring Chris Evans, will begin filming in Cleveland in late spring.

The audition will be held on Wednesday, April 10 at the Halle Building third floor, located at 1228 Euclid Ave. in Cleveland.

Actors should bring a current headshot and resume and enter on the Huron side.  Parking is available across the street in Halle Garage.  Tickets brought to the audition will be validated.

For the role of the military sergeant, casting directors are seeking an African American male in his late 30s or 40s.  Current and/or extensive military experience is preferred.  Auditions will be held at 2:30 p.m.

A male of any ethnicity with military or law enforcement experience may play the military police officer.  He should be between 28 and 40 years old.  Auditions will be held at 3 p.m.

A male Caucasian is needed for the role of “thin guy.” This actor should be 18-22 years old, between 5’7″ and 5’9″ with a 34″-38″ chest and very, very lean frame.  Thin guy auditions will be held at 3:30 p.m.
