SOUTH EUCLID – A resident called the police on Saturday after noticing a cat on a roof nearby.

Since there was no animal warden working at the time, an officer grabbed a ladder from a neighbor and went after the cat himself.

You can see the cat is a little hesitant at first, but it eventually warms up to the officer and climbs into his arms.

The cat was returned to its owner after the rescue.
