When he was 8, Mike King told his dad that when he turned 57, he’d buy him a 1957 Chevy Bel-Air.
Mike’s father, Roger, grew up poor in a family of seven kids and never thought he’d have his dream car.
But when Mike grew up and saved enough money, he fulfilled his promise to his father, posting the story and YouTube video of the surprise on Reddit.
Mike said he’d actually had the car in his garage for two years waiting to give it to his dad. He would actually show Roger photos of it during their conversations about cars.
Finally, on Roger’s 57th birthday, Mike surprised him with his biggest wish.
