OAKLAND, California– What would you do for a ticket to see the Cavs take on the Warriors in the NBA Finals?
According to what the Pillons family told KGO-TV, it’s all about sibling rivalry. The family only had two tickets, so it was agreed that only mom and dad would go. Their son, Travis, reportedly formed a plan since his brother and sister were out of town.
His mom, Marcia, told KGO, “He said, ‘Mom, what will it take?’ I said, ‘What it’s going to take is for you to look exactly like me in order to sit in that seat, so your brother and sister won’t freak out when they see you sitting in the seat.’ Next thing I know, we’re in a wig shop.”
So, Travis dressed up like his mom. It seemed to be worth it; the seats were right behind the Cavs’ bench.
The Warriors lead the series against the Cavs, 3-2, with Game 6 in Cleveland on Tuesday.
